What beats a straight in poker?

These are the following beats a straight: Royal Flush,Straight Flush, 4 of a kind,
Full House, Flush.

In traditional high poker You will win if you have Highest rank at the top of the sequence.

i think straight is more impotent in poker. but sometime royal can beat straight.
